I just finished reading this book by Ms. Coburn and I have to say my favorite character had to have been Lucy’s aunt with the Jersey accent and laugh out loud personality. Lucy is the main character in this book about a couple who is on the verge of a divorce when she finds herself pregnant, after having had a few miscarriages. You will love this book about having a baby in a less then ideal situation and how tragedy can literally change everything. I would give this a five start rating for sure!! Good job Jennifer!!
I recently read a book by Ellen Marie Wiseman titled “What She Left Behind.” There are few books that have gotten me so worked up about the cruelty that befell human beings with mental illness. I remember studying it in school in several of my psychology classes and was shocked at the inhumanity. This book is a perfect example of the torture they suffered. Clara is the main character in this book set in the 1930’s. She is the daughter of a wealthy well-to-do father who sends her to the Willard Asylum after a confrontation she has with him about the man she loves, going against the spouse he has already picked out for her. The cruelty she suffers is unimaginable but the man she loves never gives up trying to find her. I highly recommend this book! I finished it up thinking how lucky I am that we live in a time where mental illness is treated with so much more respect.

I am an Amazon junky and I just love these thing!!
This is Alexa from Amazon. She is a multi-functional helper. I find I use her mostly for spelling because I suck so bad at it. Alexa doesn’t normally look like this, but I don’t like anything to be plain. It has to have pizzaz, even if it looks weird!
My awesome new Lava Lamp, also from Amazon! It is mesmerizing!
This is another of my favorite things. Grammarly.com helps me correct my bad grammar, comma errors, as well as sentence structure, and spelling. I LOVE this to bits!
My new very favorite song! “Dirty Work!” Love this kid’s voice!
